Who are we...

The Tire Exchange has been serving the tire and service needs of the people in this area for over 80 years. The company was founded in 1926 with the first store located in Greer, SC.

In 1961 the decision was made to open a store in Simpsonville, SC.

In 1967 another store was opened in Mauldin, SC.

We are grateful for the success we have experienced over the years and feel that our success is partly due to the fact that we have always tried to keep up to date with constantly changing technology, while continuing the same old way we serve and appreciate our customers (some for over 30 years).

Our "in house" financing has always been a tremendous help for many customers. Our service is guaranteed.

Greenville, SC --- On February 20, 2007, Scott Strong and Will Dennis acquired The Tire Exchange of Greer, Inc., and The Tire Exchange, Inc., which operates in Mauldin and Simpsonville. The new company will be operating under the name of Tire Exchange of the Carolinas, Inc. With locations in Greer, Mauldin, and Simpsonville, The Tire Exchange is well positioned to serve the growing demographic of the upstate of South Carolina. The company offers a wide variety of tire brands with capabilities to serve all segments of the consumer market. All locations are staffed with expert tire sales people and TIA certified service technicians who are also TPMS certified. Additionally, all locations offer a variety of services performed by experienced, certified mechanics. Incredibly, the average employee experience rating is more than 9.5 years.
